About Olga

Since 2001, Olga has worked in the United States as a ballet and dance teacher. She has worked in numerous Chicagoland dance schools and colleges. For the last 15 years, Olga has worked at the Dancenter North of Performing Arts in Lake County, Illinois. She also teaches for Chicago National Association of Dance Masters (CNADM).

Background

Introduction to Ballet

Olga Chudaikina, a native Russian, graduated as a ballet dancer and performed in Bolshoi Theatre for several seasons. During this time, Olga was on tours across Europe to perform multiple roles in many different ballet repertoires such as, "Swan Lake", "Gizelle", "Don Quixote", "Sleeping Beauty", "The Nutcracker", and other contemporary ballet productions

Becoming a Ballet Teacher

In her next chapter, Olga pursued her dream to become a ballet teacher and was admitted into the prestigious GITIS University (Moscow, Russia). Here she learned how to teach Ballet for all levels and ages. In addition, Olga learned different teaching methods of choreography for, Character dance, Historical dance, Pointes, and Variations class.

Experience Across the World

As a teacher, Olga worked in many countries (Russia, Belarus, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Ukraine) teaching various dance subjects. During Olga's 40 years of professional experience as a dance teacher, hundreds of her students have gone onto work across the world and demonstrate a high standard of performing dance. Furthermore, some of her students attend and compete in international competitions in figure skating and rhythm gymnastics.
