IDC is excited to announce NEW class uniform requirements for the 2024/25 season. We are honored to be chosen as a Nikolay Partner School.
Ballet Class Uniforms
Nikolay Leotard and Skirt Style/Color Requirement
Adult Ballet & Men/Boys
GUIDELINES FOR ALL BALLET STUDENTS
NIKOLAY LEOTARDS | For ballet classes, students are required to wear the Nikolay leotard style/color assigned to their class level.
TIGHTS | Pink tights OR Matte Flesh-Toned tights that most accurately match natural skin tone
SHOES | Stretch canvas split-sole ballet slippers to match tights (pink or flesh toned)
HAIR | Hair must be worn in a neat, traditional ballet bun.
SKIRTS | All Level 4/5 & Senior students are required to have matching Celine skirt readily available in their dance bag at all times.
OTHER RULES | Underwear is not to be worn under leotard and tights.

Level 5 | Charlotte Leotard in Med Taupe AND Celine Mesh Skirt in Med Taupe
Senior | Charlotte Leotard in Black AND Celine Mesh Skirt in Black | At least 1 Charlotte leotard for class, additional solid black camisole leotards in style of choice.
Beginning Ballet | Charlotte Leotard in Tiffany AND Celine Mesh Skirt in Tiffany

Adult Ballet | Clothing is personal preference; dress in comfortable athletic attire. Stretch canvas split-sole ballet slippers recommended.
Men/Boys |​ White short sleeve ballet shirt, black ballet tights, black stretch canvas split sole ballet shoes.​​​​​​
Jazz/Lyrical/Contemporary
& Stretch
Class attire is personal preference, must have socks. Clothing should not restrict movement. Items worn have varied from leotards, tank tops, fitted t-shirts, athletic shorts, leggings.
Hip Hop & Musical Theatre
Class attire is personal preference; dress in comfortable athletic attire. Please wear clean and dry gym shoes to protect the dance floor.
